Online Instructors
The Iasa community is at the forefront in providing the most current skills training, best practices and business development strategies. Our courses and certification examinations are lead by the Iasa Board of Education, which is a volunteer, member-based board of certified architects who are responsible for setting our global curriculum, certification and education policies.
The Structured Canvas Approach
The Iasa Structure Canvas Approach (SCA) provides a set of tools for the practicing architecture team. It includes over 75 canvases, cards, worksheets and documents all linked together but usable separately. Some of these were invented elsewhere, such as the business model canvas. The BTABoK team and Iasa have connected them in such a way to drive traceability, solve common architecture challenges (like describing design benefits and tradeoffs), all while creating the least necessary documentation set (a minimum viable architecture) and providing valuable, stakeholder education, buy-in and understanding. Combined with our stakeholder-driven architecture and architecture patterns library, it provides the most robust toolset ever created for a working architecture practice, for business, solution and enterprise.
In-Person Learning and Training
IASA in-person training offers a hands-on learning experience that brings people together in a collaborative and engaging environment. With expert instructors leading the sessions, participants have the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and practice skills in real time. These sessions are designed to provide practical, real-world knowledge that can be immediately applied to your career or personal goals. The face-to-face interaction fosters networking and teamwork, making the learning process not only effective but also enjoyable. Iasa Mentoring Method
The insights and guidance from a mentor often have a lasting impact, shaping a mentee’s career and personal development for years. Classroom learning, while valuable, may not leave the same personalized, enduring impression.
While classroom learning is excellent for foundational knowledge and group interaction, mentoring provides a customized, real-world-focused experience that directly supports an individual’s unique path to success. The two can complement each other, but mentoring offers a level of depth and personalization that classroom learning often cannot match.
