Glenn Smyth - The Anatomy of a Digitally Transformed Organisation

Leveraging experience on numerous digital transformation programs, including the multi-award-winning ME Bank transformation, Glenn will describe the key features of an agile, or Digitally Transformed organisation from an architecture perspective. This will describe the target architectural state for a digitally transformed organisation by covering each of these features and the critical success factors for each. The presentation will also cover how this target state supports the design for the SA Government Citizen portal and cross departmental citizen journeys. Finally, he will describe a critical supporting design paradigm for an agile organisation, exceptions based straight-through-processing (STP). When implemented correctly it greatly simplifies the adoption of Minimal Viable Product delivery, and materially speeds up the delivery of cross business unit boundary stakeholder experience improvements
